Zona Rosa Caffe and the Pasadena Playhouse present the 23rd Annual Dia de Los Muertos/Day of the Dead Event.
Enjoy a Mexican Zócalo where artists and the community can taste sugar skulls, smell fresh marigolds from Jacob Maarse, children’s calaca face painting, crafts and painting by Little June Bugs, Armory Center for the Arts, KidsArt, the famous Bob Baker Marionettes, Quetzal Folklorico dancers, wine tasting at Monopole Wine, polaroid photos from Walt Girdner Photo Studio & Gallery, food/drink from Zona Rosa Caffe, and beer garden at The Stand!
Listen to the sounds from CALDO with special guests along with visual projections by Julian Felix from Culture Remixed. Also feauting the art works of Celina Jacques, Lalo Alcaraz, alter by Stephanie Pinto & student art works from Pasadena City College GRFX for this special Dia de los Muertos Event and Art Exhibition.
Also, see the alters in Pasadena Playhouse courtyard by Liz Espinoza. Also, grab some traditional Dia de Los Muertos/Day of the Dead gifts/books from Olvera Candle Shop, Imix Books, Lunasol Mexican Vintage, artist Cathy Ashworth and more!
