Join the wonderful Carnegie Observatories for an afternoon of discovery as we explore the past, present and future of astronomy at the Carnegie Observatories.

• Meet astronomers and learn about the exciting new discoveries being made at our Pasadena headquarters
• What question do you have about the Universe?  Get an answer at our “Ask the Astronomer” table.
• Learn about the latest advancements with the Giant Magellan Telescope — the future powerhouse of astronomy.
• View the sun through a solar telescope
• Tour the Hale Library and learn about the important contributions Carnegie scientists have made to our understanding of the Universe.
• Tour our machine shop and see how we build instruments for our telescopes in Chile
• Enjoy our beautiful campus courtyard with refreshments, live music and fun for everyone.
