Throop Learning Garden hosts a Compost Workshop Saturday July 30 from 9-11am.

Veteran gardeners and permaculturists, George Patton and Sheryl Spangler, will discuss static and thermal compost stacks, vermiculture, and how to solve many compost issues.

There will be a hands-on portion that will give attendees a chance to participate in building a thermal stack.

A $10 donation is requested to cover expenses. Class size is limited. Please RSVP to jnordman2@earthlink.net by 7/29.
