During the development of Boskoi, an open source smartphone application for navigating the edible landscape and mapping wild food sources, it became clear that mobile technologies were opening up new toolkits for citizen science and for networks between humans and their living environment. They have added to a newly forming branch of the anthropocene; the intertwining of data and media technologies with the ecosphere. This talk will explore such edible landscapes and augmented ecologies.
