      Join Fuller Seminary’s Annual Spring Arts Festival for a week-long celebration of the arts!

      Wednesday 5/13 – An Evening with Scott Cairns
      6:30pm, Travis Auditorium

      A poetry reading with acclaimed poet Scott Cairns, who will be releasing his new volume of poems collected over his 30-year career. The reading will be followed by a panel discussion on the crafts of poetry and art and their intersections with the Christian life and faith. Dr. Mignon Jacobs (Old Testament) and Dr. Bill Dyrness (Theology and Culture) will join Scott on the panel, which will be moderated by the poet Christopher Davidson (read some of Scott’s work here).

      Thursday 5/14 – ArtVentures: A Sacred Look
      6:30pm, Travis Auditorium

      The Theology and Arts Capstone Cohort will embark on a theological exploration of dance, music, painting, film, art installation, comedy, poetry, and cultural media studies. The projects shared are the culminations of the yearlong thesis projects of Tawanna Benbow, Daniel Bodkin, Peter Brook, Jeaser Castillo, Sheri Park, Colton Simmons, Rebecca Testrake, and Sr. Nancy Usselmann (click here for more details).

      Friday 5/22 – All Nations Food and Art Festival
      5:00pm, The Mall

      (Postponed to May 22nd from its original May 15th date.)

      This event is a celebration of food, culture and the arts. It is the culminating event of the the Spring Festival of the Arts. Students, faculty, staff and alum are invited to taste, listen, and watch different food, music, and various art forms from cultures around the globe.
