Drought is on everyone’s mind. Got Mulch?
Transition Pasadena hosts a community discussion with city representatives and local Arborists and landscapers on the State of the Mulch in the city of Pasadena.
– Gardeners can gain the most benefit from water and avoid run-off by using generous amounts of mulch on plantings and path.
– Arborists produce generous quantities of mulch daily that cost them to discard in landfills.
– Cities seek ways to meet Zero Waste goals and reduce water use by percentage goals.
Working together, we can meet the goals of all!
Panelists will include Public Works and Forestry representatives, local arborists, landscapers, and homeowners Bring your ideas and help work out the details at this event.
