Milo’s Sanctuary, Inc. is hosting a community event called “Walk a Mile In Our Paws” – a Mulit-CAT-ural Convention & Special Needs Cat Show.
FREE (with a cat item donation) or a suggested $5 donation.
Milo’s is a 501c3 non-profit rescue who is celebrating their 10 year anniversary with this special event.
Milo’s will be joined by Stray Cat Alliance, Kitty Devore Network, Hope to Home, So. Cal. Siamese Rescue, Helping Persian Cats, Kitty Katchers and Long Beach Felines for a day of adoptions, a special needs cat show, educational forums, kids events, silent auction, vendors and more…
Special Guest include: Nala Cat – the internet and Instragram sensation! Come meet Nala from 11a – 1p. You’ve seen her in the Friskies “Cat Summer” video – now meet her in person.
Also, Diana Alvear, former “Today Show” correspondent will be there to give a reading from her book: “Sal, Everybody’s Pal” the story of a shelter kitty who finds a forever home. Diana will be there selling signed copies of her book. Her reading is at 1:30 pm.
