While enjoying the beautiful sight of the blooming purple Jacaranda trees on Del Mar, you might notice a white colored Jacaranda tree that usually blooms a little tater than its purple sisters.

The rare white-flowered tree is possibly the only one in the city, and sits on the northwest corner of Del Mar and South Lake Ave.
Take a look and let us know what you think, do you like the white Jacaranda tree, or do you prefer the purple Jacaranda trees? I personally have an affinity for anything rare and unique, not to say the purple Jacarandas don’t have their own unique effect on the city.
